Danny Gargan claimed Divine Miss Grey in March 2017 and she went on to win five stakes races for him and her owners, including the Grade 2 Chilukki Stakes in November 2018. Claimed for $16,000, Divine Miss Grey earned $613,200 in 2018. Gargan also claimed Tax for $50,000 out of a Keeneland maiden claiming race in October 2018, and the Arch gelding went on to win the Grade 3 Withers Stakes in February 2019.
In 2022-23, Gargan trained Remsen Stakes winner and Kentucky Derby prospect Dubyuhnell.

Gargan grew up in Louisville, Ky., and is the son of the late jockey of the same name, who won the 1973 Kentucky Oaks. Gargan worked in various assistant positions in Kentucky and New York and as a jockey agent prior to starting his training career in 2013.
