For the second straight year, nearly 500 Thoroughbred racing and breeding industry luminaries congregated at The Breakers Palm Beach, the esteemed resort and part of Princess Diana lore, for the 53rd Annual Eclipse Awards.

Positioned after the Breeders’ Cup World Championships and before the Triple Crown trail heats up, Pegasus World Cup day has been a welcome addition for racing fans and bettors alike.

The racing world will be watching Oaklawn Park with great interest Jan. 28, when Olivier, the full brother of 2022 Horse of the Year Flightline, is scheduled to make his career debut in the fifth race, a six-furlong, $115,000 maiden special weight race.
