The $2 million Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets returns to idyllic Saratoga Race Course for the second straight year while Belmont Park undergoes a massive renovation. The 2024 edition at the historic upstate New York venue was a rousing success and there is excitement building for this year’s final jewel of the Triple Crown, which anchors a five-day Belmont Stakes Racing Festival that begins Wednesday, June 4 and runs through Sunday, June 8.

The Belmont Stakes will be shortened to 1 ¼ miles again for the 2025 edition due to the racetrack configuration at Saratoga, and the field has come into focus with Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve winner Sovereignty, Preakness Stakes winner Journalism, and Kentucky Derby third-place finisher Baeza on target to compete in the famed “Test of the Champion.”
