The Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets is the third and final jewel of U.S. Thoroughbred horse racing’s Triple Crown. The 1 ½ mile race is called the “Test of the Champion” and follows the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve and Preakness Stakes as the last stop on the Triple Crown.

This year’s Belmont Stakes will be held June 10 at Belmont Park, and the prospective field looks competitive with four runners on tap to return from the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve, including third-place finisher Angel of Empire. Preakness winner National Treasure also is pointed to the race as is champion Forte, gearing up to return from a minor injury that sidelined him in the Kentucky Derby after he won the Curlin Florida Derby Presented by Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm at Xalapa.
