The final truly big weekend on the 2022 calendar for horse racing in North America is coming up, highlighted by a huge Saturday at Aqueduct and the closing weekend of Del Mar’s Bing Crosby meet.
Four graded stakes are on tap for Saturday, Dec. 3, at Aqueduct, led by the Grade 1 Cigar Mile Handicap for older horses and two Grade 2 races for 2-year-olds that offer qualifying points for the 2023 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve and the Longines Kentucky Oaks: the Remsen Stakes and the Demoiselle Stakes, respectively.
On the opposite coast, Del Mar concludes its fall season with four graded stakes – two each on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 4. The marquee races are the Hollywood Derby for 3-year-olds on turf Saturday and the Matriarch Stakes for turf fillies and mares on Sunday, both of them Grade 1 events.
Racing from Aqueduct and select races from Tampa Bay Downs will be showcased on “America’s Day at the Races” airing on FS2 from Thursday, Dec. 1, to Sunday. Check the below schedule for air times.
All of the action from Del Mar will be broadcast live on FanDuel TV along with races from many other tracks including Gulfstream Park, Woodbine and Laurel Park.
Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
