Jacks or Better Farm is the Ocala, Fla.-based racing and breeding operation of Fred and Jane Brei. The couple established the 89-acre Jacks or Better Farm in 1997 aiming to become successful commercial breeders. When the operation's foals did not bring the prices they expected, the Breis began to race their own horses and ended up becoming one of Florida's most successful small-scale homebred breeders.
The Breis were honored with Florida's 2001 and 2004 Needles Award as outstanding small breeder.

The Breis bred and raced 2010 champion 2-year-old filly Awesome Feather before she was sold to Frank Stronach's Stronach Stables later that year at auction. Awesome Feather is by the Breis' homebred stallion Awesome of Course.
In addition to Awesome Feather, the Breis also enjoyed success with graded stakes winners Radical Riley, Bayou's Lassie, Fort Loudon, C. Zee, Dogwood Trail and Awesome Banner, a multiple graded stakes winner in 2016.
