One of the most popular weeks of the year for fans of and bettors on horse racing is here, and the focus is squarely on New York as the five-day Belmont Stakes Racing Festival begins Wednesday, June 3, highlighted by the 158th running of the Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets Saturday, June 6. The Belmont and supporting races will all be run at Saratoga Race Course in 2026 as Belmont Park continues with a massive reconstruction project, with a re-opening scheduled for this September.
National TV coverage of the Triple Crown shifts from NBC to FOX Sports for Belmont week, and the network will be on-site at Saratoga for all five days of the Belmont Festival, with shows airing on FOX, FS1, and FS2. On Belmont Stakes Saturday, FOX Sports will have nine hours and 45 minutes of total coverage, including 4 ½ hours nationwide on FOX culminating with the third jewel of the Triple Crown held at a 7:04 p.m. post time.
As in 2025, there will be two shows airing on the afternoon of Belmont Stakes day: a national show on FOX geared toward casual fans of the sport and newcomers, and a show on FS1 with content appealing to seasoned horseplayers.
