Just Beat the Odds

Just Beat the Odds won his maiden race in his fourth lifetime start as a 3-year-old in a six-furlong race at Monmouth Park on Aug. 18. 2023. He proceeded to close out his 3-year-old season with an allowance optional claiming win at Tampa Bay Downs going seven furlongs on a sloppy track on Dec. 16.

Just Beat the Odds raced just three times in an abbreviated 4-year-old season in 2024 and scored one win at 6 1/2 furlongs versus allowance optional claiming company at Tampa on April 14.

Just Beat the Odds flashed better form than ever as a 5-year-old in 2025. He made his seasonal debut with a wire-to-wire six-length win going 6 1/2 furlongs at Aqueduct on March 9, 2025, with a big speed figure against allowance optional claimers, then finished second by a neck against another stakes caliber field at Aqueduct on April 12. Following nearly eight months on the sidelines, Just Beat the Odds made his return to the races on Dec. 6 in the first graded stakes assignment of his career in the Grade 3 $250,000 Elite Power Stakes at Aqueduct. Sent off as the 1.47-1 favorite in a five-horse field in the Elite Power Stakes, Just Beat the Odds dueled for the lead much of the way and drew clear to score his first career stakes victory by a winning margin of 2 3/4 lengths.
