Stradale made his second career start on turf Aug. 16, 2026, in the Grade 3 Mahony Stakes and earned his first graded stakes win in the Grade 3 event. The 3-year-old Yaupon colt began his career on dirt and made eight consecutive starts on the surface with two stakes placings before moving to turf during the 2026 Saratoga summer meet.
Stradale made his second career start on turf Aug. 16, 2026, in the Grade 3 Mahony Stakes and earned his first graded stakes win in the Grade 3 event. The 3-year-old Yaupon colt began his career on dirt and made eight consecutive starts on the surface with two stakes placings before moving to turf during the 2026 Saratoga summer meet. He finished a solid fourth at high odds in the Grade 3 Quick Call Stakes at Saratoga July 19, and took another step forward in the Mahony, stalking the early leader, taking over in early stretch under Jose Ortiz, and holding off a late charge from Oscar’s Hope to prevail by a neck.
Trained by Steve Asmussen, Stradale is out of the Stormy Atlantic mare Twitterpated, who is a full sister to turf Grade 1 winner Stormy Lucy.
