Napoleon Solo absolutely swamped the competition in his career debut Aug. 8, 2025, at Saratoga Race Course, pressing a fast pace and powering to a 5 ¼-length victory under Joel Rosario for trainer Chad Summers.

He prepped for the Grade 1 Champagne Stakes with a series of three-straight bullet workouts (the fastest at that distance on the day) and dominated again in his stakes debut. Napoleon Solo set a fast pace through an opening quarter-mile in :22.53 and a half-mile in :44.24 and surged well clear in the stretch en route to a 6 ½-length runaway under Rosario that punched his ticket to the FanDuel Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Presented by TAA Oct. 31 at Del Mar. He also earned 10 qualifying points toward the 2026 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve by completing the one-mile race in 1:34.57.

Napoleon Solo made his 3-year-old debut on Feb. 28, 2026, in the Grade 2 Coolmore Fountain of Youth Stakes going 1 1/16 miles at Gulfstream Park. He was sent off at the 3.40-1 third choice on the tote board in a field of nine and settled for fifth.

Napoleon Solo is named for a fiction character from the 1960s spy series TV show and 2015 movie “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”

A gray or roan colt by Liam’s Map, Napoleon Solo was produced by the stakes winner Atomic Blonde, by Scat Daddy.
