Kristina Hobbs grew up in Texas riding and competing in Eventing. She was given the opportunity to move to the east coast to train under the well-known O'Connor Event Team where she was able to learn more, from starting young horses to watching the U.S. and Canadian Teams train. She returned home to Texas and spent six years as an assistant trainer to a Grand Prix Show Jumper before falling in love with OTTBs and completely changing career paths, now focusing on the proper transitioning and training of OTTBs. She lives in Decatur, Texas with husband Russ Hobbs and son Hartley.
