Whiskey Decision

Whiskey Decision enjoyed a strong and fast start to her racing career after debuting as a 3-year-old in 2024 for trainer Arnaud Delacour. She reeled off three straight wins starting with her maiden win going one mile on the all-weather surface at Turfway Park on March 23, 2024. She then won an allowance optional claiming race at Churchill Downs by 5 1/2 lengths going 1 1/16 miles in her turf debut on May 10. She then went to Delaware Park in her next start to face stakes company for the first time in the $150,000 Christiana Stakes going 1 1/8 miles on the turf and scored a 2 3/4-length win. After that promising beginning, she tailed off during the second half of her 2024 campaign with a sixth-place finish in the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks, a sixth-place finish in the Winter Memories Stakes at Belmont at the Big A, and a fifth-place finish in the Grade 3 Pebbles Stakes.

Whiskey Decision was given seven months off after the Pebbles loss and made her return to the races as a 4-year-old on June 14, 2025, In the Grade 3 $150,000 Eatontown Stakes with a barn switch to the care of trainer Chad Brown. Whiskey Decision was sent off as the 4-1 fourth choice in the wagering in a five-horse field in the Eatontown but outran those odds by bursting through on the rail into the stretch to establish the lead enroute to a two-length win. Her final time for the 1 1/16 miles on a wet turf course rated "good" was 1:44.81.
