Giovanni L. Ricardo is a New Jersey native and a current student at the University of Kentucky. He is double majoring in Finance and Marketing and will be going into his junior year come Fall 2024. He is an Ed Brown Society Scholar, Keeneland Ambassador, and Vice President of his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Order. Through his work with the Ed Brown Society, he has interned with Keeneland for the 2024 Spring meet and currently is interning with The Jockey Club's Media Ventures team.

In the Marine Officer Program, he completed the Junior Platoon Leaders Course, a six-week training at Officer Candidate School located in Quantico, Va.
