Lauren Millet-Simpson

Lauren Millet-Simpson currently lives in the tiny town of Hillsburgh, Ontario, Canada. She is the Farm Manager for LongRun Thoroughbred Retirement Society, where the mission is to rehab and adopt out Canadian-bred or Canadian-raced OTTB's.

Growing up near Fort Erie racetrack, in a town called North Pelham, her family frequented the track on weekends to watch the racing. Lauren always dreamed of working with racehorses, and now that dream is a reality, just in a slightly different form with horses that are coming off the track vs. still racing.

Lauren has always loved Thoroughbreds and could not think of a better job than being able to re-start them for their second careers. The importance of ground work, stretching, and strengthening is at the forefront of her re-starting process, and she believes that the best foundations go much further than simply time in the saddle.

Lauren is looking forward to the journey to the Thoroughbred Makeover with her newly acquired Mr Nobility and is excited for what they can achieve together.
