NBC Sports and TVG will provide comprehensive coverage of the elite Royal Ascot meet from June 15-19. (Eclipse Sportswire)
This week, a busy TV schedule for live racing has an international focus as the five-day Royal Ascot meet in England will be broadcast live on NBC Sports and on TVG. The meet begins on Tuesday, June 15 and runs through Saturday, June 19 and features elite turf racing highlighted by four “Win and You’re In” Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series races.
NBC Sports will show racing from Royal Ascot from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN from Tuesday through Friday. On Saturday, coverage shifts to NBC from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET and then to CNBC from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
As noted above, TVG will also broadcast all races from Royal Ascot along with races from tracks such as Santa Anita Park and Gulfstream Park as part of its comprehensive schedule.
Racing at Belmont Park as well as Churchill Downs will be featured on “America’s Day at the Races” starting Thursday, June 17 and ending Sunday, June 20. The NYRA-produced program presented by Claiborne Farm and America’s Best Racing will air on FS2 – check the below schedule for air times.
To kick off the week's live streaming coverage, ABR's “Always Be Racing” show returns this Friday, June 18. Hosted by BlackJack Fletcher and Danielle Moinet, the show begins at 3 p.m. ET. “Always Be Racing” can be viewed on ABR's Facebook and Twitter channels as well as BlackJack's Twitter account and Danielle's Twitter account.
ABR's “The Winner’s Circle” returns for its usual Monday timeslot of 11 a.m. ET with a show on June 21. Presented by NYRA and NYRA Bets and hosted by Bram Weinstein and Dan Tordjman, “The Winner’s Circle” will recap the Royal Ascot meet and look ahead to the summer racing calendar. “The Winner’s Circle” can be viewed on ABR’s Twitter and Facebook channels and Bram Weinstein’s Twitter channel. Archived episodes of “The Winner’s Circle” are available as podcasts via Apple and Spotify.
