Born and raised in Chandler, Arizona, Hillary Schifferer purchased her first horse at the age of 13 and has been immersed in the equestrian world since. Growing up riding various disciplines, she couldn’t stay away from the Lexington area. Hillary became interested in the thoroughbred industry while raising foals at Fares Farm and working as a Veterinary Technician at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital. She now also serves as a Media Assistant intern for America’s Best Racing where she hopes to further expand her knowledge of thoroughbred racing as she finishes her Bachelors of Science degree in Corporate Communications at the University of Kentucky.
