The upcoming week in horse racing is highlighted by three “Win and You’re In” qualifiers for the 40th annual Breeders’ Cup World Championships. The historic Whitney Stakes at Saratoga and the Clement L.

U.S.-based racehorses have become more and more prominent, and successful, in the last decade at the prestigious Royal Ascot meeting in June and the boutique five-day meet now captivates American audiences as well as racing fans in Europe.

From the very first time she heard about it, visiting Ascot Racecourse for the royal meeting was a bucket-list item for Georgian Alisa Sloan.

The National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA), Daily Racing Form, and the National Turf Writers And Broadcasters (NTWAB) announced today that Britney Eurton, Acacia Courtney Clement, and Nick Luck will co-host the 53rd Annual Eclipse Awards, which will be held on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 at The Breakers Palm Beach. Caton Bredar will be again serving as the Ceremony Announcer.

Breeders’ Cup prep season is building momentum, and this upcoming weekend is highlighted by a “Win and You’re In” qualifier at Del Mar as well as an important race for 3-year-olds at Saratoga that serves as a prep for the Travers Stakes in late August.

The story of the sport of horse racing lies in its places: sprawling expanses of bluegrass nourishing generations, stunning mountain vistas watching over their battles, and timeless towns centered around these equine athletes. Summer brings America to one of those timeless towns, Saratoga Springs, N.Y., where the best that the sport has to offer congregate for new editions of long-running fixture races.
