If the appeal of 14 world championship races over two days at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif., wasn’t enough to get you psyched for the 2023 Breeders’ Cup, let us remind you of a few other reasons why the event on Nov. 3-4 is a can’t miss: The wagering, the fashion, the cocktails and… the food!

The first full weekend of October is upon us, and that means it’s time for the grand finale of the Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” schedule in North America. There are an incredible 15 qualifying preps scheduled from Friday to Sunday, eight of them at picturesque Keeneland Race Course in Kentucky, which will hold its popular Fall Stars weekend starting on Friday.

Building upon a successful launch last year, the second Horse Racing Women’s Summit, taking place Sept. 28 at Santa Anita Park, took on some of the most challenging issues facing racing. Horse safety was paramount during the first panel on the state of the industry.

The upcoming weekend is the first of two in a row featuring an abundance of Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” races both in the U.S. and overseas, and the majority of them will be shown live on television.

Pioneering horse racing television commentator Charlsie Cantey will be honored with the Jane Goldstein Exemplary Leadership Award at the second annual Horse Racing Women's Summit, Sept. 27-29 at Santa Anita Park.
