For more than a century, the Far Hills Race Meet has been part of the fabric of the Far Hills, N.J. community, and it’s grown into the state’s premier social and sporting event.

The annual gathering at Moorland Farm is a highlight of the fall season and attracts thousands of spectators who return, year after year, to watch the world’s finest steeplechases, reconnect with family and friends, support worthy causes, and make memories to last a lifetime.

As has become a tradition in early October every year, retired racehorses took over Lexington’s Kentucky Horse Park this week for the Thoroughbred Makeover and National Symposium, presented by Thoroughbred Charities of America.

Last weekend marked the grand finale of Breeders’ Cup preps in North America with important prep races held from coast to coast (two more “Win and You’re In” qualifiers are scheduled in England Oct. 19). Over the next three weekends, the connections of Breeders Cup contenders will conduct final workouts and arrange travel to Del Mar for the 41st World Championships Nov. 1-2.

Director Jeff Celentano and producer Warren Ostergard of “The Hill,” this year’s award-winning sports drama starring Dennis Quaid, have reunited to launch Enliven Content, a film and television production company with an eye towards true, inspiring, and uplifting stories.

Moab was donated to The University of Findlay (UF) in the spring of 2023 by Godolphin, one of the world’s leading Thoroughbred breeding and racing operations. For years, Godolphin has supported UF's breaking and retraining program by donating horses, highlighting their commitment to Thoroughbred aftercare.
