Television, livestreaming, and radio coverage of horse racing ramps up later this week in preparation for the 151st Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve. The following week will mark the culmination of national attention directed at the sport as excitement builds for the Derby every day up to “the first Saturday in May,” but analysis of contenders’ workouts plus early handicapping shows are already underway via several outlets.

Churchill Downs kicks off its Spring Meet Saturday, April 26, with a “Downs After Dark” evening card that will also include the post-position draws for the May 3 Kentucky Derby and the May 2 Longines Kentucky Oaks, which will start at 7:15 p.m. ET. The entire card plus the draws will be shown live on FanDuel TV, and that network will provide comprehensive coverage of racing at Churchill Downs throughout Kentucky Derby week and the duration of the Spring Meet. (The Derby and Oaks post-position draws will also be streamed on kentuckyderby.com.)

FanDuel TV’s coverage of workouts live on site at Churchill Downs will start on Friday, April 25, with the popular “Breakfast at the Kentucky Derby” show. The program will run each day until Thursday, May 1 from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. ET and feature live training footage as well as interviews, analysis and insights from FanDuel TV’s team of handicappers. “Breakfast at the Kentucky Derby” will be hosted by Michael Joyce along with Simon Bray and Joe Talamo, with reporting from Andie Biancone, Gabby Gaudet, Caton Bredar, Scott Hazelton, and Maria Montgomery.

In addition to FanDuel TV’s “Breakfast at the Kentucky Derby,” Twinspires.com presents a Kentucky Derby Morning Works Show that has already started and runs each day ending Thursday, May 1. The livestream airs from 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. ET and highlights the 15-minute exclusive training window at Churchill for Derby and Oaks contenders from 7:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The show is hosted by Joe Kristufek, Kaitlin Free, Tony Calo, and Kevin Kilroy and is streamed live on Kentucky Derby’s Facebook, X, and YouTube channels.

FanDuel TV will also wind down its daily coverage of Keeneland Race Course’s Spring Meet with three final days starting Wednesday, April 23, and ending Friday. The popular “Today at Keeneland” show hosted by Scott Hazelton and Gabby Gaudet also runs for three more days and can be watched on Keeneland.com, Keeneland Select, Keeneland’s YouTube channel, and several other outlets.

Other tracks covered in FanDuel TV’s daily package include Gulfstream Park, Santa Anita Park, Laurel Park, Horseshoe Indianapolis, and Woodbine, which kicks off its 2025 meet Saturday.

Racing from Aqueduct and Oaklawn Park is showcased on “America’s Day at the Races” for a five-day run starting Wednesday and ending Sunday, April 27. The show airs on FS2 this week – check the below schedule for times.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.

For livestreaming coverage, don’t miss ABR’s new “The Saturday Show – Live Betting with the Boys,” a fast-paced and exciting betting show hosted by Ryan Anderson and Jackson Muniz. This week’s episode goes live Saturday at a start time of 4 p.m. ET and will be streamed on ABR’s Facebook, X, and YouTube channels.
