The upcoming weekend is a history-making one in horse racing, as on Friday, Sept. 18, Belmont Park opens after an extensive reconstruction project that took five years to fully complete. The venerable Long Island, N.Y., track will have an entirely new main building with grandstand, clubhouse, and box seating as well as a re-envisioned paddock and a new all-weather track for winter racing.

The marquee event on Belmont’s opening weekend is the historic Jockey Club Gold Cup Stakes, which features Japanese superstar Forever Young and will be held on Friday. The Jockey Club Gold Cup plus other races on the card will be televised live nationwide on FOX during NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races” show, which airs on FOX Sports Friday, Saturday, Sept. 19, and Sunday, Sept. 20. The other big racecards this weekend happen in Pennsylvania, as Presque Isle Downs hosts the Presque Isle Downs Masters Stakes Friday and then Parx Racing presents eight stakes races in total Saturday, highlighted by the $1 million Pennsylvania Derby and $1 million Cotillion Stakes. Races from Parx and Presque Isle will be shown live on FanDuel TV, which will also show races from tracks including Churchill Downs, Gulfstream Park, Woodbine, and Laurel Park during the week and weekend.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.

America’s Best Racing is excited to present two livestreams this week covering the big racedays. First, don’t miss ABR’s “Pennsylvania Derby & Presque Isle Downs Masters Preview Show!” set for Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m. ET. This livestream hosted by Ashley Wood, Alexa Zepp, and Jessica Paquette will preview and offer gambling analysis of both the Pennsylvania Derby and Friday’s Presque Isle Downs Masters Stakes. Presented by the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Association, “Pennsylvania Derby & Presque Isle Downs Masters Preview Show!” will stream on ABR’s Facebook, X, and YouTube channels.

Then on Friday, ABR will be on-site at Belmont Park for “Belmont Park Opening Day Livestream” covering the races and what promises to be an exciting social scene as the historic racetrack starts a new era. The show will be hosted by John Franklin, Alexa Zepp, Matthew DeSantis, and Kaylie Shapiro, and presented by NYRA Bets and Blue Note Bourbon. “Belmont Park Opening Day Livestream” starts at 3 p.m. ET and will stream on ABR’s Facebook, X, and YouTube channels.
