Ask Your Equine Valentine To ‘Be Mine’: Visit Horse Country's Carrot Grams Benefit Stable Recovery
The Life
LEXINGTON, KY – This Valentine’s Day, Visit Horse Country is proving that the way to a champion horse’s heart is through their stomach. For the third consecutive year, fans worldwide are invited to send a Carrot Gram to their favorite equine stars, ranging from Kentucky’s finest studs to beloved mares across the Bluegrass.
Starting Friday, Feb. 13, supporters can visit the Horse Country website to send a valentine to their "equine crush." 100% of the proceeds support Stable Recovery, a Lexington-based non-profit that provides recovery housing and equine industry job training for individuals in early sobriety.

“Love is in the air here in Horse Country,” says Hallie Hardy, Visit Horse Country Executive Director. “And what better way to say, ‘I love you,’ to the horse of your dreams than with a carrot or a rose? Carrot Grams is a fun way for fans to connect with the horses they admire, whether they’re halfway across the world or right here in Kentucky.”
“We are always blown away by the connection between our guests and the horses they meet on a tour in Horse Country,” continued Hardy. “There is no better example of that incredible bond between horse and human than Stable Recovery. We are thrilled to invite fans to ask their favorite horse to ‘Be Mine’ for such a meaningful cause.”
