Horse racing’s spring fever season is upon us, as the 200-point prep races for the May 3 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve start this upcoming weekend with two on the schedule for Saturday, March 22. The Twinspires.com Louisiana Derby at Fair Grounds and the Jeff Ruby Steaks at Turfway Park offer valuable qualifying points for the 151st Kentucky Derby to the top five finishers on a 100-50-25-15-10 scale, and both races drew competitive fields.
Both the Louisiana Derby and Jeff Ruby Steaks will be broadcast live on CNBC during a one-hour show as part of NBC Sports’ Road to the Kentucky Derby series. The show, which will also stream on Peacock, runs from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET.
Both Derby preps also air on FanDuel TV along with undercard races from Fair Grounds and Turfway Park as well as action from Gulfstream Park, Santa Anita Park, Laurel Park, and other tracks.
Racing from Aqueduct and Oaklawn Park is showcased on “America’s Day at the Races” which will have a two-show slate this week on Friday, March 21 and Saturday. The program airs on FOX Sports channels – check the below schedule for times.
Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
