The upcoming weekend in North American horse racing is comparatively light in terms of marquee races for January, as there are no Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve preps scheduled and several tracks have cancelled racecards due to weather conditions.

The main event is the Sunshine series of stakes races held at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, Jan. 11. Those races will be shown on FanDuel TV along with action from other tracks around the country. (California Cup races at Santa Anita Park on Saturday were cancelled along with cards on Friday, Jan. 10 and Sunday, Jan. 12 due to the catastrophic wildfire outbreak in greater Los Angeles.)

Live racing from Aqueduct and Tampa Bay Downs is showcased on “America’s Day at the Races” for three consecutive days this week, starting on Friday and ending on Sunday. That program airs on FOX Sports channels – check the below schedule for times. (Racing at Oaklawn Park, which is also normally shown live on the program, has been cancelled through Sunday due to snow and freezing temperatures.)

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.

Here’s a rundown of this week’s TV and radio horse racing coverage.
