The upcoming weekend in North American horse racing features the prestigious first leg of Canada’s Triple Crown, the 166th running of the King’s Plate at Woodbine. The 1 ¼-mile race for 3-year-olds bred in Canada anchors a spectacular day of racing Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Toronto, Ontario, track including five other stakes races. One of those, the E. P. Taylor Stakes, is a “Win and You’re In” qualifier for the Maker’s Mark Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf in November.

All of the action from Woodbine will be broadcast on FanDuel TV along with racing from Del Mar, Gulfstream Park, Ellis Park, and other tracks as part of that network’s comprehensive schedule.

At Saratoga Race Course, the marquee race Saturday is the Alabama Stakes Presented by Keeneland Sales for 3-year-old fillies. The Alabama will be shown nationwide during a two-hour “Saratoga Saturdays” broadcast on FOX as part of NYRA’s “Saratoga Live” series that spans the entirety of the Saratoga meet. “Saratoga Live” will also air each day from Wednesday, Aug. 13, through Sunday, Aug. 17 on FOX Sports – check the below schedule for channels and times. Also, a special broadcast of the Prix Jacques le Marois from Deauville Racecourse in France will air on FS2 Sunday morning.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.

On Saturday, America’s Best Racing will be on-site at Woodbine for King's Plate Live! This action-packed show is hosted by Dan Tordjman, Rachel Miller, and Alexa Zepp and will feature special guests throughout offering gambling analysis and lifestyle commentary during Woodbine’s festive day. King's Plate Live! starts at approximately 3:30 p.m. ET and will stream on ABR’s Facebook, X, and YouTube channels.
