The 2025 racing calendar kicks off in North America with an active New Year’s Day schedule at several tracks around the country and continues on through the weekend, with two Kentucky Derby points preps – the Smarty Jones Stakes at Oaklawn Park and the Jerome Stakes at Aqueduct – slated for Saturday, Jan. 4.
Both of those races plus undercard action from Queens and Hot Springs will be showcased on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races.” That program also airs Friday, Jan. 3, and Sunday, Jan. 4, on FOX Sports channels – check the below schedule for times.
Live racing from Gulfstream Park, Santa Anita Park, Turfway Park, Fair Grounds, and other tracks will be broadcast on FanDuel TV and its sister channel FanDuel Racing, including a pair of graded stakes at Santa Anita on Saturday.
Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
