Relax in a refreshing, hip, and quiet garden-like atmosphere at a café that essentially is outside in a greenhouse. This café specializes in small plates with a wonderful, but limited selection of always-fresh and ever-changing food. Bavarian pretzels are one of the specialty items, and Kentucky Native Café offers wine and local craft beers as well as a terrific selection of salads.

Bear & The Butcher has you covered with an incredible selection of cocktails and craft beer, hand-made sausages on location, and a remarkable venue overlooking the Chevy Chase section of Lexington, featuring balcony seating and open-air dining. This also is an ideal spot for a delicious weekend brunch — Saturday/Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — before a day at the races.

With sight, smell, sound, touch, and taste it is a pure sensory journey the moment you step through our doors.”

Local foodie Greg Charkoudian calls Windy Corner by far his favorite place to eat in Lexington and chef/owner Ouita Michel a “genius.” With an old, country store feel, Windy Corner uses Kentucky products in all of its recipes and is known for savory Po-Boy sandwiches, amazing dinner specials, and a mouth-watering bakery section.
