Whereshetoldmetogo

A Maryland-bred gelding sired by El Padrino out of the Domestic Dispute mare Undisputed Legend, Whereshetoldmetogo won his first stakes race at Delaware Park on September 30, 2017. He won the First State Dash Stakes at 9-1 by half a length. 

As a 3-year-old, Whereshetoldmetogo won three stakes races. He won the American Fabius Stakes at Gulfstream Park on Feb. 17, 2018 by 6 1/2 lengths, drawing off impressively in the stretch under Miguel Vazquez. He briefly went on the Derby trail when he entered the Grade 3 Gotham Stakes at Aqueduct on Mar. 10, but he was a non-threatening fifth.

Later that year, Whereshetoldmetogo won the Concern Stakes by 3/4 of a length at Laurel Park on July 7, then won the Star De Naskra Stakes by two lengths over the same track on August 18. In the Grade 3 Gallant Bob Stakes, he finished second by a neck, after attempting to bite the winner, Firenze Fire, while battling with him in the stretch.

Previously trained by Anthony Pecoraro and Brad Cox, Whereshetoldmetogo went to the Brittany Russell barn in the summer of 2020. He added two stakes wins to his résumé towards the end of that season. He won the Frank Whiteley Stakes at Laurel by a nose on November 28, then took the Dave's Friend Stakes by 3/4 of a length at that track on December 26.

Whereshetoldmetogo didn't slow down as a 6-year-old. He won the Not For Love Stakes at Laurel on March 13, 2021, then won the Alapocas Run Stakes at Delaware on July 10. After two consecutive stakes defeats, he bounced back with a win in the New Castle Stakes at Delaware on Sept. 25. 

Whereshetoldmetogo made his 2022 debut in the Not For Love Stakes against Maryland-breds on March 19. He chased down early leader Jaxon Traveler and crossed the wire three-quarters of a length in front, covering six furlongs in 1:10.97. A few months later, he won the Alapocas Run Stakes for the second consecutive year at Delaware Park on July 2.
