Warm Heart (IRE)

Warm Heart scored her first career victory as a 3-year-old in her third lifetime race in a 1 1/4-mile maiden race at Leopardstown in Ireland on May 7, 2023. From there she quickly shot up through the 3-year-old filly ranks with four group stakes wins in England and France including the Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks on Aug. 24 at York and the Group 1 Prix Vermeille at Longchamp on Sept. 10.  The races propelled her to a start in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf Nov. 4 at Santa Anita Park, where she just missed by a neck in second behind the late running Inspiral. Warm Heart then finished her whirlwind 3-year-old season in Hong Kong, where she finished third in the G1 $3 million Hong Kong Vase.

Warm Heart continued her globetrotting barnstorming tour when making her 4-year-old debut at Gulfstream Park on Jan. 27, 2024, when she faced the boys in the Grade 1 $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational at a 1/8 miles. Facing a 12-horse field as the 2.40-1 second choice on the tote board, Warm Heart worked out a perfect stalking trip all the way around the course under jockey Ryan Moore and accelerated in the stretch to secure a half-length win. Warm Heart's time of 1:44.45 established a new 1 1/8-mile Gulfstream course record.

Warm Heart is trained by Aidan O'Brien for Coolmore. She was bred in Ireland by the sire Galileo out of the mare Sea Siren by Fastnet Rock.
