Utah Beach won his maiden race as a 3-year-old in a 1 1/4-mile race on the all-weather track at Turfway Park on Nov. 29, 2023. He continued to build his long-distance credentials as a 4-year-old in 2024 when he won back-to-back 1 1/2-mile turf races at Gulfstream Park in February and Keeneland in April. He finished the year in stakes company with a third-place finish in the Grade 3 Sycamore Stakes at 1 1/2 miles on the turf at Keeneland on Oct. 11, 2025, and with a second-place finish by a head in the $108,000 Allen Jerkens Handicap going two miles on the turf at Gulfstream Park on Dec.

Utah Beach became a stakes winner and graded stakes winner for the first time with a victory in the Grade 2 $400,000 VisitLEX Elkhorn Stakes going 1 1/2 miles on the grass at Keeneland on April 19, 2025. Sent off as an 11.70-1 longshot in a full field of 12 horses in the Elkhorn, Utah Beach rallied from the back half of the field to reach the front in deep stretch and win by a head. He followed with a 1 1/2-length victory in the $250,000 Louisville Stakes May 17 at Churchill Downs, where he was just a fifth of a second off the course record of 2:26.50 set by Tikkanen in the 1994 Breeders' Cup Turf.
