Storm the Court won his career debut in style at Del Mar in August 2019, but did not get a chance to show his mettle in the Grade 1 Runhappy Del Mar Futurity in his next start as an errant competitor, Eight Rings, collided with him and caused him to lose his jockey. In his third try he was back at the Grade 1 level and finished third behind Eight Rings in the American Pharoah Stakes.

Storm the Court found his way back to the winner's circle on the grandest of stages, holding off Anneau d'Or to win the TVG Breeders' Cup Juvenile on Nov. 1 after being sent off as the second-longest shot in the field at 45-1.
The colt parlayed his Breeders’ Cup success into a 2019 Eclipse Award as champion 2-year-old male. He made his 3-year-old debut in the Feb. 9, seven-furlong San Vicente Stakes at Santa Anita and finished a non-threatening fourth. He followed with a third-place finish in the Grade 2 San Felipe Stakes March 7 before finishing a distant sixth in a division of the Grade 1 Arkansas Derby May 2.
Storm the Court was next shipped to Thistledown for the $500,000 Ohio Derby and finished third in the Grade 3 race.
