Queen Nekia won her first stakes race on Aug. 30, 2020, at Charles Town. Sent off at 7.30-1 in the Dance to Bristol Stakes, she came from last place to win the seven-furlong affair by one length, with Christian Hiraldo in the saddle.
She won her first graded stakes on Feb. 20, 2021 at Gulfstream Park, winning the Grade 3 Royal Delta Stakes in a 29.30-1 upset. After sitting behind in the early stages, Corey Lanerie rallied her up the rail on the turn, and drew off for the 1 1/2-length win. She covered the 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.62.
