Poster won his maiden race at first asking as a 2-year old in a one-mile turf race at Ellis Park on Aug. 19, 2024. He then repeated against allowance company in his second start in a one-mile allowance race at Keeneland on Oct. 12 to begin his career 2-for-2 on the grass.

Poster went up in class against stakes company for the first time and simultaneously switched to the dirt for the first time for the running of the Grade 2 $250,000 Remsen Stakes going 1 1/8 miles at Aqueduct on Dec. 7 and again proved up to the task while keeping his perfect record intact. Poster rallied from last to first in a six-horse field to get up just in time to win by a neck. The Remsen was a qualifying points race on the road to the 2025 Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve, and with his victory, Poster earned 10 points.

Poster's next outing came in his 3-year-old seasonal debut in the $250,000 Sam F. Davis Stakes going 1 1/16 miles at Tampa Bay Downs on Feb. 8, 2025. Poster rallied from the rear to get up for third in the 10-horse field and earned another six Kentucky Derby qualifying points. He then went to Turfway Park and finished fourth in a 12-horse field on the all-weather surface in the Grade 3 $777,000 Jeff Ruby Steaks on March 22 to garner 15 more qualifying points to keep his possible Derby aspirations alive.

Poster is trained by Eoin Harty for Godolphin. He was bred in Kentucky by the sire Munnings out of the mare Pin Up by Tapit.
