Pondering won her career debut outing as a 2-year-old at Ellis Park on July 22, 2024. Her first stakes win came the next year as a 3-year-old in the Kentucky Downs Preview Ladies Turf Sprint at Ellis Park on Aug. 2, 2025. She subsequently finished 10th at Kentucky Downs in her next start in the Grade 2 AGS Music City Stakes.
