Optionality won back-to-back stakes races to conclude her 3-year-old season. As the 11-10 favorite in the Zia Park Princess Stakes on Nov. 24, 2021, she drew off to win emphatically by 6 1/2 lengths. She covered six furlongs on the Hobbs, New Mexico oval in 1:09.16.
Next out, Optionality shipped to Remington Park, in Oklahoma City, and raced in the one-mile Trapeze Stakes on Dec. 17. Once again, she pressed the pace and drew away to win by 8 1/4 lengths. Irad Ortiz Jr had the winning mount in both races.
