O'Connor had nine wins in his native Chile before coming to North America and winning his U.S. debut in a Gulfstream Park allowance optional claiming race on Oct. 16, 2022. Later he finished second in the Grade 3 Ghostzapper Stakes at Gulfstream as a 6-year-old on April 1, 2023.

O'Connor scored his first North American stakes win on Oct. 28 when he closed to win the Grade 2 $350,000 Hagyard Fayette Stakes going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Keeneland, which he won by a head in a three-way photo finish atop an eight-horse field. O'Connor was victorious again in his next start to close out 2023 when he won the Grade 3 $150,000 Harlan's Holiday Stakes going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Gulfstream Park on Dec. 30. In the Harlan's Holiday, O'Connor rallied from mid-pack in a nine-horse field to get up and win by a neck as the 3.60-1 second choice on the tote board.
O'Connor is trained by Saffie Joseph Jr. He was bred in Chile by the sire Boboman out of the Chilean mare Torrente de Agua by Touch Gold.
