Heroic Move

Heroic Move began his career at Oaklawn Park in February of his 3-year-old year and won his maiden race at first asking. He also added a Remington Park allowance win later that year on Oct. 11, 2023. Heroic Move then spent the winter/spring season of 2023-24 at Oaklawn Park where he raced four times and earned one allowance win on Feb. 25, 2024.

Heroic Move became a graded stakes winner for the first time in his career with a victory in the Grade 3 $400,000 Steve Sexton Mile on May 27 at Lone Star Park. Heroic Move trailed the six-horse field during the first half of the race and began moving into contention turning for home. He continued to close through the stretch and then won a close three-horse win photo by a neck.

Heroic Move was bred in Kentucky by the sire Quality Road out of the mare Family Tree by Smart Strike.
