After fading to sixth in a stakes race in his career debut in May 2024, Governor Sam embarked upon a four-race winning streak that included victories in the Tyro Stakes at Monmouth Park, the Exacta Systems Rosie’s Stakes at Colonial Downs, and the Indian Summer Stakes Presented by Keeneland Select at Keeneland. He then finished third after leading in deep stretch in the $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint Nov. 1 at Del Mar.
