Go Bears Go made his debut in a five-furlong race at Ascot on May 8, 2021. He got the job done on debut, winning by 1 1/2 lengths while covering five furlongs over soft ground in 1:04 2/5.
Go Bears Go made his debut in a five-furlong race at Ascot on May 8, 2021. He got the job done on debut, winning by 1 1/2 lengths while covering five furlongs over soft ground in 1:04 2/5.
After a runner-up effort in the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at the Royal Ascot meet on June 17, Go Bears Go was entered in the GAIN Railway Stakes at the Curragh in Ireland on June 26. He won by 1 1/4 lengths, for his first career stakes victory. He followed with a third-place finish in the Group 1 Keeneland Phoenix Stakes in August and then was beaten by only a length when fourth in the Group 1 Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes in September.
After an unplaced finish in the Group 1 Darley Dewhurst Stakes Oct. 9 at Newmarket, Go Bears Go rebounded nicely to finish a fast-closing second in the $1 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint Nov. 5 at Del Mar.
