Gezora began her racing career in her native France as a 2-year-old in 2024 and won her maiden race in her second lifetime outing on Aug. 27, 2024. She later added a second juvenile win in a Group 3 race at Deauville to conclude her 2-year-old season.
Gezora began her racing career in her native France as a 2-year-old in 2024 and won her maiden race in her second lifetime outing on Aug. 27, 2024. She later added a second juvenile win in a Group 3 race at Deauville to conclude her 2-year-old season.
Gezora became a star as a 3-year-old in 2025 with a pair of springtime wins in France coming in the Group 2 Prix Saint Alary at Longchamp and in the Group 1 Prix de Diane at Chantilly. She then added a second-place finish in the Group 1 Prix Vermeille at Longchamp on Sept. 7 and then took on males in France's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on Oct. 5 and finished 13th after a tough trip on soft turf.
Gezora made the trip to the United States to finish her 3-year-old campaign in the $2 million Maker's Mark Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf on Nov. 1 at Del Mar where she faced a 13-horse field. Sent off as the 9.10-1 fifth choice on the tote board in the 1 3/8-mile Filly and Mare Turf, Gezora raced in mid-pack much of the way, made a three-wide move around the turn, challenged the leading She Feels Pretty in the stretch and got by in the late stages to earn a victory by a margin of a half a length.
