Fenwick was a last-minute addition to the 2022 Preakness Stakes field and was pegged at odds of 50-1 on the morning line. The Curlin colt entered the Preakness off of a last-place finish in the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland, which followed a maiden win at Tampa Bay Downs.
The colt began his career with four consecutive losses under Steve Asmussen’s supervision, before switching to trainer David Fisher for his maiden win and then to Kevin McKathan.
