Everland

Everland won her first career race late in her 2-year-old season in her fourth lifetime start in a maiden claiming race at Turfway Park on Dec. 30, 2023. She had been trained by Jonathan Thomas but was claimed out of the maiden win by Turfway's leading trainer at the meet, Eric Foster.

Everland proceeded to begin her 3-year-old season nicely starting with a Turfway starter allowance win on Feb. 10, 2024, followed by a fourth-place finish in the $150,000 Cincinnati Trophy Stakes going one mile on the all-weather surface on March 1.

Everland's breakout performance came at Turfway Park on March 23 when she was victorious in the $300,000 Bourbonette Oaks, topping a field of 10 from the far outside post to win by 1 1/4 lengths going 1 1/16 miles. The Bourbonette Oaks was a qualifying race on the road to the Kentucky Oaks, and her 50 qualifying points were enough to secure her a spot in the Kentucky Oaks starting gate.

Everland was bred in Kentucky by the sire Arrogate out of the mare Ever Changing by Tapit.
