Creative Minister was supplemented to the 2022 Preakness Stakes for $150,000 after impressively winning an allowance/optional claiming race by 2 ¾ lengths at Churchill Downs on the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve undercard. He had raced twice earlier in the year prior to that start, finishing second by a neck in his debut and then taking a maiden race at Keeneland by 1 ½ lengths.
