Bottle of Rouge won her second career outing as a 2-year-old on Aug. 9, 2025, at Del Mar. Her next race was a significant test against stakes competition in the Grade 1 $300,000 Del Mar Debutante going seven furlongs at Del Mar on Sept. 6. Bottle of Rouge was sent off as the longest odds of three Bob Baffert trainees in the seven-horse Del Mar Debutante but proved best of all that day with a stalking effort under jockey Mike Smith to win by a length in a time of 1:23.05.

Bottle of Rouge closed out her 2-year-old season with an unplaced finish in the NetJets Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Oct. 31 at Del Mar, beaten by 5 ½ lengths while sixth behind winner Super Corredora.
The gray or roan filly by Vino Rosso made her first start as a 3-year-old in the $250,000 Sunland Park Oaks and utilized a stalking trip to post a 1 ½-length victory Feb. 15. Baffert next shipped her to Colonial Downs for the Virginia Oaks Presented by New Kent County and she made easy work of four opponents in a 4 ¼-length romp March 14 in her final prep for the 2026 Longines Kentucky Oaks.
Bottle of Rouge was produced by the Bluegrass Cat mare Blues Corner, a half-sister to stakes winners Slider and San Pablo.
