Boppy O won his career debut May 20, 2022, at Gulfstream Park, where he rallied from off the pace to post a 1 ½-length victory in a five-eighths of a mile maiden race. Tested next in the Grade 3, $175,000 Sanford Stakes, Boppy O failed to fire and finished 10th in a 12-horse field.
Hall of Fame trainer Mark Casse subsequently opted to try the Bolt d’Oro colt on the grass and he rewarded that decision with a determined victory in the $175,000 With Anticipation Stakes Aug. 31 at Saratoga to earn a Grade 3 win.

From the first crop of multiple Grade 1 winner Bolt d’Oro, Boppy O is out of the Grade 3-placed Scat Daddy mare Pappascat and is a half-brother (same dam [mother], different sire[father]) to graded stakes winner Pappacap, the 2021 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile runner-up.
