Aspray made her career debut as a 3-year-old on Jan. 14, 2023 at Tampa Bay Downs and won an off-the-turf maiden race that day by 2 1/2 lengths going 1 mile and 40 yards on the main track. She then proceeded to reel-off two more wins to begin her career, first with a one-mile allowance victory on the turf at Tampa Bay Downs on March 22. and then with an off-the-pace score for her first stakes in in the $100,000 Hilltop Stakes going a mile at Pimlico on May 19.

Aspray suffered her first career loss in her fourth lifetime start, which was a fourth-place finish in the Grade 1 Belmont Oaks Invitational going 1 1/4 miles on the turf on July 8. She quickly rebounded in her next outing, however, winning the $200,000 Grade 2 Lake Placid Stakes at Saratoga by two lengths atop an eight-horse field on Aug. 19.
Aspray is trained by Chad Brown. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Quality Road out of the mare Up by Galileo.
