Argos won his 2-year-old career debut in a 5 1/2-furlong maiden race on the turf at Ellis Park on July 13, 2025. He was next sent to Woodbine and became a stakes winner for the first time when he stretched out to a mile in the Grade 1 $500,000 bet365 Summer Stakes on Sept. 13 at Woodbine where he scored a stalking head victory atop a 10-horse field. The Summer Stakes was a Breeders' Cup Challenge Series "Win and You're In" race, and with his victory, Argos earned a spot in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf on Oct. 31 at Del Mar.

Argos tried racing on an all-weather surface for the first time as a 3-year-old in the Grade 3 $777.000 Jeff Ruby Steaks going 1 1/8 miles on March 21, 2026, at Turfway Park and finished fifth in a 12-horse field.
