Amy C (GB)

Amy C began her career in France as a 2-year-old in late 2020 and broke her maiden in her 3-year-old debut at Deauville on March 6, 2021. She was then imported to the United States, where she promptly won her in her first stateside outing in a 1 1/16-mile grass race at Belmont Park on June 25, 2021.

Following some unsuccessful stakes tries later in 2021 and at the start of her 4-year-old campaign in 2022, Amy C again found the winner's circle on the west coast when she won an allowance optional claiming race at Santa Anita on June 18. That race would springboard her to a strong finish to the 2022 season. She later won the Senator Ken Maddy Stakes to record her first career stakes win on Oct. 29 going 6 1/2 furlongs on the Santa Anita downhill turf course.

Amy C reached another career milestone as she began her 5-year-old season on Jan. 2, 2023 when she posted her first career Graded stakes victory in the Grade 3 $100,000 Las Cienegas Stakes at Santa Anita. Once again on the downhill turf course, Amy C topped a field of eight by 1 1/4 lengths in a time of 1:12.86 on a turf course labeled good.

Amy C is trained by Phil D'Amato. She was bred in Great Britain by the sire Charming Thought out of the mare Alzahra by Exceed and Excel.
