Alpha Bella began her career racing on the dirt but scored her first career win when switched to the turf for the first time in a maiden race on Dec. 11, 2022 at Gulfstream Park. Alpha Bella entered exclusively in turf routes during her 3-year-old season in 2023 but failed to win on the grass in eight starts that calendar year, with her lone victory coming by 22 3/4 lengths in an off-turf race at Saratoga on Aug. 10.

Alpha Bella became a stakes winner for the first time when she was victorious in her 4-year-old debut in the Grade 3 $150,000 La Prevoyante Stakes on Jan. 27, 2024 going 1 1/2 miles on the turf at Gulfstream Park, topping a seven-horse field as the 8-1 odds third favorite on the tote board.
Alpha Bella is trained by Todd Pletcher. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Justify out of the Irish mare Andina by Singspiel.
