Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas, 89, is a living legend in the sport of horse racing, a winner of four Kentucky Derbys among 15 victories in U.S. Triple Crown races between 1980 and his victory with Seize the Grey in the 2024 Preakness Stakes. Lukas will try for his fifth win in the Kentucky Derby May 3 with Virginia Derby victor American Promise.
